Egypt bought only Russian wheat at the tender, but very little

The Egyptian Grain Agency GASC purchased 114 thousand tons of Russian soft milling wheat at a tender on July 14 for delivery on August 16-26, 2020. According to the Grain On-Line agency.

In total were purchased:

AST Agro - 2 cargoes of 57 thousand tons at a price of $ 211.90 / ton FOB with a freight rate of $ 14.85 / ton = $ 226.75 / ton C&F.

The insignificant volume of the current purchase is due to the sharply increased prices compared to the recent tender on July 7 .
