European wheat: Paris updated monthly low
On Friday, September French wheat hit a fresh monthly low, following on the heels of a weakening Chicago. Exchanges on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean reacted extremely nervously to forecasts of increased yields in a number of exporting countries, in particular in Russia and Canada. Improving weather conditions in Australia raise the chances of a sharp rise in production. The species for the harvest of spring wheat in the States themselves are also improving. According to the Grain On-Line agency.
September quotations of milling wheat on the Parisian stock exchange MATIF decreased by € 1.25 to 178.00 € / ton ($ 209.79 / ton).
