Kazakhstan continues to increase export prices for grain

 

According to the assessment of the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, in January-April of this year prices for wheat exported from the country increased by 14.4% compared to the same period in 2019, for barley - by 12.1%.

As for the products imported to Kazakhstan, during the reporting period, poultry meat (by 12.7%) and sugar (by 4.8%) went up, while for sausages - they decreased by 5.5%.

In general, in the first 4 months of 2020, prices for goods exported from Kazakhstan decreased by 17.1%, while for imported goods they increased by 1%.
